2 programs grades K-8 or 6-10.
Responsibilities Include:
Group Leaders will supervise and manage children during intake, snack time, bathroom time, lining up and transition between classes, homework time, group time and dismissal.
Group Leaders will assist students with homework help and in mediating any conflicts or personal issues that may arise
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of High School Diploma / Associate Degree preferred
2. Be amiable to fingerprinting and security clearance by NYC Dept. of Education & Dept. of Health
3. Have 2 years experience working with children
4. Be highly organized and self motivated
5. Be excellent team players
6. Experience instructing/working with K-5 children
7. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
8. Experience in working with varied ethnic populations
9. Demonstrate ability to lead structured age appropriate activities and lessons
