Yeshivat Or Hatorah an all Boys Yeshiva High School is seeking highly motivated and experienced General Studies Teachers in the subject areas of Math, Business Math, Science, History, ELA, and Computer Science to join our faculty. General studies is taught in the afternoon hours from 2pm-6pm. Looking for candidates to take on 2-4 periods a day.
Responsibilities Include:
-Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all students
-Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessments
-Provide individualized support to students as needed, including extra help sessions and tutoring
-Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
-Stay current with advances in subject matters and incorporate technology into teaching and learning
-Maintain a positive and professional learning environment that fosters student success and engagement
-Attend and participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as required
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Hours: 2pm - 6pm
September - June
Schedule aligns with the Jewish calendar.
