We have immediate need for an Equipment Manager and Coach/Counselor through September 6. 7:30a - 12:00p and/or 12:00p - 4:30p. Full week commitment is not necessary.
Central Park Sports is a recreational "all sports" program based out of Central Park in New York City, and we're looking for experienced, energetic coaches and counselors to close out the Fall season! We work with kids ages 3 to 12 years old in a recreational setting, teaching basic, age-appropriate athletic skills and, most importantly, how to have FUN playing sports! All coaches/counselors are independent contractors able to set their own availability. Full and 1/2 days available. In addition to the dates above, we are seeking coaches for after-school classes through the fall. Opportunities for additional private coaching to all ages and abilities in your sport.
Requirements:
EQUIPMENT MANAGER
18+
Comfortable on a bike with gear trailer
Able to comfortably lift loads up to 60lb
PUNCTUAL
COACHES
College, professional, or equivalent athletic experience
Experience coaching and working with young children
Enthusiasm, positivity and a passion for sharing your love of sports
COUNSELORS
High School or equivalent athletic experience
Experience working with young children
Enthusiasm, positivity and a passion for sharing your love of sports
