Who are we looking for?
Musical IQ is looking to hire experienced and qualified candidates as program facilitators who are excited about making and sharing music. Ideal candidates will be creative, have a flare for working with children, are self-motivated and highly organized. Accepted candidates will need to be available for multi-day training to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a Musical IQ facilitator.
Job Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years experience teaching in classroom or group settings
Formal music training or ability to demonstrate musical skills and capability on drums or percussion
Excellent communications skills
Attention to detail, organization skills and time management
Professional, outgoing and charismatic
Coachable and willing to learn
Team player mentality
Flexible availability preferred
Ability to handle unexpected and/or challenging situations
Job Requirements
Fluency in English
Ability to commit a minimum of 2 to 3 days a week
Professional presentation following company dress code
Ability to travel throughout 5 boroughs (options for with or without car)
Ability to dedicate time to training and learning curricula content
