Flushing afterschool is looking for experienced ELA/ Math teachers to teach Afterschool and Saturday classes. Currently hiring knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate elementary/ Middle school / High School(K -G12 grade) teachers for our Academic Afterschool/ Saturday School located in Flushing. Help students in private and/or group settings in ELA and Math
Teaching students in person classroom environment Monday to Friday from 2:30/3:00-5:30. Saturday school from 9:00-4:00. Work closely with the Director and parents to meet students' individualized academic needs, goals, and interests.
Keep detailed records of each student's progress and using Student Progress Records and/or relevant forms
Required education:
Is a current student teacher; or pursuing a teaching certificate; or has teaching experience
Bachelor's degree in education is preferred
Holds a valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent preferred.
