Part-Time Sewing Instructor for Elementary Kids
Very basic hand sewing skills required, full training given. Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives and eager to share the joy of sewing? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Sewing Instructors to teach elementary school students basic hand sewing skills in after-school programs in Fairfield County. We provide training, materials and instructions.
Position: Part-Time Sewing Instructor
Location: Greenwich, CT
Hours: Monday - Friday, between 2.30 PM and 4:30 PM
Schedule: 2-3 days a week
Compensation: Excellent rates of pay
Responsibilities:
Teach basic hand sewing techniques to elementary students in after-school programs.
Create a fun, engaging, and educational environment for kids.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
Prepare and organize sewing materials and projects for students.
Foster a love for sewing and help students develop this valuable life skill.
Qualifications:
Basic hand sewing skills are required; advanced skills are not necessary.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle a group of young students.
Patient, happy, and passionate about working with children.
Ability to make sewing enjoyable and accessible for kids.
Prior experience working with children is a plus, but not mandatory.
