Position Overview:

We are hiring part-time Math and ELA Tutors for all grade levels: elementary, middle, and high school. This position is ideal for certified teachers or experienced tutors who are enthusiastic about teaching and available during after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized tutoring in Math or ELA tailored to individual student needs.

- Prepare and deliver engaging instructional activities that foster academic growth.

- Track and communicate student progress

- Support students in preparing for standardized exams, including Regents (if applicable).

- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Math or ELA (please specify subject and grade levels in your cover letter).

- A teaching license is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for education and working with students of diverse backgrounds.

- Familiarity with the New York Metro area education system is a plus.

- Must successfully complete a background check upon request.

Work Schedule:

Part-time: 8-12 hours per week.

Schedule: After-school hours (exact times to be coordinated).

Compensation:

$35-$55 per hour, based on experience and ability to teach group sessions.
