A preschool teacher is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans to educate and care for young children (typically ages 2-4) on basic skills like colors, shapes, numbers, and letters, science, while also fostering their social, emotional, and motor skills through play-based learning, all while maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment; key duties include observing children's development, communicating with parents, and ensuring children reach developmental milestones.

Curriculum implementation:
The curriculum has been designed by a combination of our Franchise, FasTracKids International, and has also been further enhanced by our lead teacher who is an expert in early childhood education with decades of classroom teaching and curriculum development experience. The lead teacher will provide the preschool teacher with all lesson plans and will also collaboration with the preschool teacher. Also the preschool teacher will be responsible for helping the lead teacher with implementing age-appropriate lesson plans for our homeschooling pod program that incorporate various learning activities like math, English, science social studies, storytelling, art, music, and outdoor play.
Classroom management:
Create a positive and structured learning environment, manage transitions between activities, and address children's behavioral needs.
Child observation and assessment:
Monitor children's individual progress, identify developmental milestones, and document observations to share with parents.
Social and emotional development:
Foster positive social interactions, teach conflict resolution skills, and support children's emotional well-being.
Parent communication:
Regularly update parents on their child's progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships with families.
Basic skills instruction:
Teach fundamental concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and basic language skills.
Hygiene and safety:
Ensure children's safety by supervising activities, maintaining a clean classroom, and following sanitation protocols.
Collaboration:
Work with other staff members to coordinate activities and provide consistent care for children.

Education and certification:
Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Masters Degree or graduate school student in early childhood education is also highly desirable.
Compensation Levels:
Bachelors in Early Childhood will little or no classroom experience. $20.00 per hour to start
Bachelors in Early childhood with 3+ years experience. $25.00 per hour to start
Masters in Early Childhood will little or no classroom experience. $30.00 per hour to start
Masters in Early childhood with 3+ years experience. $35.00 per hour to start
