Our progressive Brooklyn preschool on Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, serving children ages three to five, seeks a creative preschool group teacher who is certified in Early Childhood Education to join our team. Ideally, our newcomer has an abundance of energy, a wealth of creative yet practicable ideas, and a sensitivity to the nuances of interacting with young children.
We focus on following our students' interests while valuing and nourishing their creativity, imagination, and play. The ideal candidate for this position is dedicated and creative, a great team player, enthusiastic about education, passionate about working with children, and able to communicate effectively with parents, caretakers, and kids. Teachers with a friendly and open disposition, plenty of patience, and a sense of humor are encouraged to apply.
We are particularly seeking teachers familiar with the Reggio Emilia and Waldorf approaches to learning.

Qualifications:
NY State Teacher Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education OR
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
