Our progressive preschool in Brooklyn, Carroll Gardens serving children ages three to five, seeks a creative lead teacher certified in Early Childhood Education to join our family full-time from 8am to 4pm. Ideally, our newcomer has an abundance of energy, a well of creative yet practicable ideas, and a sensitivity to the nuances of interacting with young children.
We focus on following our students' interests while valuing their creativity, imagination, and play. The ideal candidate for this position is dedicated and creative, a great team player, enthusiastic about education, and passionate about working with children. Those with a friendly and open personality, patience, and a sense of humor are encouraged to apply.
We are particularly seeking teachers familiar with the Reggio Emilia and Waldorf approaches to learning.

Qualifications:
NY State Teacher Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education OR
Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education,
Minimum two years of previous teaching experience required.
