We are looking for a caring and reliable Paraprofessional to work one-on-one with a bright young student who needs extra support with behavior, emotions, and social skills in the classroom. The right candidate will help the student stay engaged in learning, build positive habits, and participate successfully in school life.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing gentle guidance and encouragement throughout the school day
- Supporting the student with behavior strategies and positive social interactions
- Prompting and assisting with bathroom use when needed
- Helping the student stay focused, calm, and involved in class activities
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children, especially those with special needs
- Patience, consistency, and a supportive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
