Flushing afterschool is looking for experienced ELA/ Math teachers to teach Summer school and fall after school. Currently hiring knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate elementary/ Middle school (K -G5 grade)/ high school teachers for our Academic Afterschool/ Saturday School/ Summer school located in Flushing. Help students in group settings in ELA and Math. State test, SAT prep teaching experience preferred.
Teaching students in person classroom environment Saturday half a day or full day. Work closely with the Director to meet students' individualized academic needs, goals, and interests.
Keep detailed records of each student's progress and using Student Progress Records and/or relevant forms
Required education:
Is a current student teacher; or pursuing a teaching certificate; or has teaching experience
Bachelor's degree in education is preferred
Holds a valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent preferred.
