Description:
We are seeking a passionate and responsible individual to join our team as a STEAM Summer Camp Tutor. This role involves working hands-on with kids, fostering their love for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through engaging and interactive activities.
Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct STEAM-related activities and lessons.
Supervise and support children in a camp setting.
Tutor students in math and English during the morning portion.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and camp staff.
Be punctual and dependable.
Finger printed.
Requirements:
Experience working with children.
Currently studying in the field of education or a related discipline.
Proficiency in math and English.
Ability to work Monday through Friday and possibly Saturday as well, with flexible hours for either morning or afternoon shifts. Must be punctual and reliable.
Additional Opportunity:
We are also looking for an after-camp hour tutor to provide extended learning and care.
Successful candidates will have the potential to be hired for a position in the upcoming September school year.
