Job Opportunity: Tutor/Mentor/Personal Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time (Monday to Saturday) Live-in or live-out option
About the Role:
A busy mother is seeking a Personal Assistant and Tutor/Mentor to support her businesses and assist her 10-year-old son with his educational and personal development. The role demands multitasking and a blend of administrative and mentorship skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Support:
- Tutor grade 6 Math and English.
- Ensure all homework is completed accurately and on time.
- Communicate with teachers to monitor academic progress and address concerns.
- Encourage engagement in reading, writing, and critical thinking activities.
- Guide the child in reducing screen time and developing positive habits.
- Accompany the child to sports activities and extracurriculars.
- Prepare light, nutritious meals and encourage healthy eating.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Conduct online searches for contracts and business opportunities.
- Answer and return calls professionally and promptly.
- Knowledge of French, Digital marketing and WordPress skills are welcome, assisting with business-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in tutoring grade 6 Math and English and general office tasks.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills. - Clean criminal background check and solid references.
- Ability to multitask and handle both educational and administrative duties.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals for the child.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is a plus
- Experience in digital marketing and WordPress is highly desirable.
Compensation:
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
