We are looking for a creative, versatile, and experienced architect/ designer to add to our design staff. The scope of design projects in our busy office includes mixed-use apartment buildings, educational facilities, hospital environments and shopping center renovations.
Knowledge of design constructability is essential. Having advanced computer skills is preferred but not required. Understanding the design problem and creatively solving it is.
Position Requirements:
Professional bachelor’s degree in architecture
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Architect’s office
Expertise in Adobe and Autodesk Suites and at least one Modeling and Rendering Application (Preferred: SketchUp Revit, or 3D Studio Mx, and VRay, Enscape, Lumion or Twin Motion.)
High level proficiency with AutoCAD & 3-D software.
Interior design & planning for the residential mixed-use market is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
A passion to make each assignment better than the last.
An appreciation for managing digital resources, maintaining an economy of means, and authoring work that is clear and easy to collaborate on.
Ability to bring architectural training and knowledge into the development of Construction drawings and 3-D design models for both Permit submission and Presentation drawings.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Potential candidates will be tasked with producing architectural drawings to support on-going projects and future marketing efforts. He/she will collaborate with the Architectural Team to develop effective construction documents, solutions, renderings, and 3-D images as appropriate for tasks.
