Customer Job Title: Cloud Data Architect - AWS
Perm/Direct Hire
Remote (some travel after covid)
The purpose of a Cloud Data Architect is to design solutions that enable data scientists and analysts to gain insights into data using data-driven cloud based services and infrastructures. They will be subject matter experts and will be responsible for stakeholder management and technical leadership for data ingestion and processing engagements. A good understanding of cloud platforms and prior experience working with big data tooling and frameworks is required.

What are we looking for?
• Technical Leadership - Provides overall technical leadership and direction on project engagements.
• Stakeholder Management - Guides and influences customer stakeholders.
• Delivers - Has guided & influenced senior customer stakeholders.
Has successfully delivered at least 3 cloud delivery projects for at least 2 different customers. Customer facing experience of a consultative nature.
• Non-technical: Adept at strategic planning with understanding how to identify business needs, problems, and risks.
• Optionally responsible for the technical mentorship and guidance of a team of up to 5 people, keeping members accountable for action items on IDP, owning initiatives (May be externally called "Tech Lead").
• Certifications - At least 1 Pro level certification and 1 data specialty certification
Can be hired w/o a certs but need to attain within their probation period.
• Best Practice - Proficiency in most provider-specific services and experience architecting and implementing in at least 3 CDA Specialisms.
• Non-technical: Adept at strategic planning with understanding how to identify business needs, problems, and risks.
