Brooklyn-based Architecture and Design firm is seeking an Intermediate Architect with 6+ years’ experience to join our team of architects and interior designers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting in development of designs
Assisting in communication with clients
Assisting in communication and coordination with project consultants
Preparation of presentations for clients
Responsible for drafting / detailing drawing sets for construction
Responsible for drafting drawing sets for Dept of Building and Landmarks filings
Assisting in the implementation of local codes, rules, and regulations
Assisting with bidding of projects / coordination with bidders
Assisting with construction administration duties
Attending OAC meetings during Construction Administration
REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years’ experience
Minimum education: Bachelor of Architecture
Experience in architectural drafting and detailing
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Rhino modeling and CS Suite
AutoCAD for MAC knowledge, a plus
Ability to hand sketch, a plus
Experience working on high-end residential and hospitality projects, a plus
Experience with NYC Dept of Building and Landmarks filing drawings, a plus

Depending on skill level and experience, the annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000.
