Description:
We are looking for an individual for a Project Engineer position in our company located in Staten Island, NY. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Responsibilities:
· Gather drawings and read specifications to perform accurate take offs.
· Calculate material, equipment and labor requirements.
· Proposal preparation.
· Communicate with Project managers for any necessary information required.
· Engage in Project engineer duties including Shop drawings & submittals.
Qualification/requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
· Proficiency with computer operating systems and knowledge of software applications - Microsoft Word, Excel, Auto CAD & Bluebeam
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Reading comprehension of technical documents
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills
