Job Description:
Our client specialize in building retail experiences and they are seeking 2-3 Freelance Retail / Architecture Designers to work onsite with their team for the next 2-4 weeks starting NEXT WEEK (week of 2/25).
The Retail / Architecture Designers will be assisting their team with the rollout of a branded shop-in-shop rollout for a retail store. The majority of the creative has been completed so you will mostly just need to document each site specific roll-out, comprised of fixturing, carpet tile and visual merchandising elements for an installation team to follow.
The Retail / Architecture Designers must be knowledgeable in the technical aspects of the practice of retail design and construction, adept at basic construction detailing, have some field experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a project team and also individually.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of relevant experience focused within the retail interior sector
Project experience in department store shop-in-shop environments is preferred
Possess excellent communication skills you can speak, write and document all stages of project to management, vendors and customers on request
Comfortable taking direction, self-motivated and independent worker
AutoCAD proficiency is required. Adobe CC and Sketch Up proficiency are a bonus
