Locus is currently searching for a Call Center Concierge for our client. This is a full time role with one week of training M-F, 9am-5pm and then the standard shift is 9am-6pm M-F (hybrid - 3 days onsite/2 days remote). This is located in downtown NY near Wall Street area. Interview date is Monday 9/1, start date Monday 9/13.
Responsibilities:


  • Answering phones from members professionally, and responding to their inquiries and complaints.
  • Researching required information using available resources.
  • Handling and resolving member complaints
  • Navigating the member through services that the organization provides.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues by reporting to management.
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate subject matters/queue.
  • Following up with members when required.
  • Completing call notes before the call is escalated to a subject matter expert or complete.
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data from the call to handle complaints and inquiries.
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
  • Other duties as assigned (ex. special call-based projects).

Requirements:

  • Attendance and punctuality are imperative.
  • Experience in dealing with the public.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills, including verbal with proper grammar.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Good multi-tasking skills.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Able to react effectively and calmly in emergencies.
  • Able to maintain member confidentiality.
  • Efficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, power point)

Suggested Skills:

  • Salesforce.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish preferred).

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Note: This is not a remote position, however the our client will function in a remote hybrid schedule until the fall. (On-site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday/ Remote Wednesday & Friday). Must have reliable internet and computer equipment for paid work.
