As an Infrastructure Virtualization Engineer, you will be architecting, implementing, optimizing and troubleshooting enterprise scale hyper-converged environments. This includes architecting all aspects of the environment; Sizing, stability, resiliency, security, growth planning, monitoring. We are looking for virtualization SMEs in Hyperconverged (HCI) platform, Hyper-V, Cisco UCS, VMWare VSphere ecosystem including VRO as well as hardware virtualization.
As an Infrastructure Virtualization Engineer, you are part of a team of problem solvers with strong technical fundamentals in virtualization and virtual server environments. You will work with unstructured problems to deliver high value outcomes. .
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement VMware based virtualized private cloud infrastructure in data centers using Cisco UCS blade systems, HCI, NetApp and Dell Storage, in support of Windows and RHEL virtual machines
Maintain VMware/vSphere new version certifications and act as escalation path for issues
Evolution of HCI strategy and implementation
Certification, governance and evolution of the UCS platform which underlies all Greenfield infrastructure.
Design, implement VMware ESX based virtualized environment and manage it using tools such as vROPS
Bare Metal Hardening, review of vendor solutions for new compute infrastructure and establishing governance structures for evolving hardware standards.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $77,750 and $0 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
