DescriptionWe are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Tech, to join Amazon Publisher Cloud (APC) team. APC is a game-changing new service, currently in beta, that operates at the intersection of advertising, secure signal collaboration , and cloud services. In this role you will be a key member of an entrepreneurial team tackling some of the most exciting and complex opportunities in digital advertising.The ideal candidate will have deep technology experience, ability to shape solutions in an ambiguous space, and a strong track record of shipping software products. You have the ability to deeply understand customer needs, and work backwards from those to deliver solutions. You have experience and comfort working with senior leaders and with product, engineering, and Data Science teams. This is a high-impact role that requires not only strategic vision and inventing for your customers, but also strong execution, analytical rigor and excellent communication.Key job responsibilities
Define product strategy for a key area within APC by understanding industry, business, and technical drivers
Build and prioritize a roadmap to implement the strategy
Deliver the roadmap by articulating product requirements. Partner with engineering to scope, refine, and ship the product features.
Drive GTM for the product area by working with Customer team, and iterate on the product offering
Ideate with business, product and engineering leaders to iterate on product and strategy
A day in the life
Meet with customers to discuss strategic and operational topics
Present strategy and business updates to senior leaders
Create strategic and tactical artefacts – strategy docs, product briefs, Voice of Customer debriefs, Product Requirements, roadmap items
Brainstorm with product and engineering peers
Participate in business reviews, prioritization reviews, technical deep dives

We sit within Amazon Publisher Services (APS) business, which helps digital publishers around the world build and grow thriving businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to web, mobile app and advanced TV publishers of all sizes, including many of comScore’s global top 100, to help them monetize their content with demand from multiple programmatic buyers.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:New York, NY, USA | Palo Alto, CA, USABasic Qualifications
2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
8+ years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
