All About Kids is currently recruiting for school-based counselor positions for Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Licensed Psychologists (Ph.D.) in all Boroughs of NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island).

Our school-based Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors and Licensed Psychologists promote the emotional and social growth of children so that they can thrive in school and succeed in life. All school-based counseling services will be performed in-person in a school setting (Public, Private, or Charter schools available).Our team will help you find the right school and caseload! Whether you are looking to complement your current caseload or are looking to switch into school-based therapy from a different setting, we have a variety of placements and settings available.Responsibilities

Provide services in school-based settings and work with a diverse client caseload

Monitor and track progress on IEP goal(s)

Develop and maintain a complete, accurate and current record with all required documents and data through SESIS

Deliver in-person services effectively

Develop creative goal plans aimed at improving overall well-being

Have excellent organizational skills

Salary$56 - $60 per hourOpportunities

The Division of Correctional Health Services (CHS) of New York City Health + Hospitals (H+H) is responsible for the delivery of medical care, mental health care, and discharge planning in the jail system. Approximately 25% of new admissions per year to the NYC jail system will receive care on the mental health service. This service strives to provide safe, holistic and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for the diverse range of mental health issues that face the population, from serious mental illness to the natural struggles that accompany incarceration. The service provides some of the most comprehensive and unique treatment modalities in the country, including specialty housing units for individuals with serious mental illness, a 24-hour on-call psychiatric service, robust creative arts programming, a strong DBT training program, clinics in each of the facilities, substance use treatment, integrated re-entry services, and relationships with multiple training institutions throughout the city. Responsibilities Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 4pm-12am Night time differential Provides mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, assessments, and follow-up care. Determines and coordinates disposition of patients for appropriate level of mental health care including discharge planning. Completes required statistical reports. Collaborates with the Department of Correction to ensure access to patients, proper housing, and treatment disposition. Coordinates patient care with other institutional programs.
