Description A Robert Half client has an employment opportunity for a Software Developer. Periodically exercise code-review and band together with other developers

Deliver clear and consistent report around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

Rectify and produce production support

Do business with Scrum team to submit meticulous work estimates Requirements - Less than one year of experience

Knowledge of education standard such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF is a plus

You might be a good fit for this position if you have familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)

Experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc., are required for success at this position.

.NET experience

ASP.NET experience preferred

Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) experience

.NET C experience required

Experience crafting, documenting and testing APIs

Applicants should be able to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

Applicants with familiarity with scrum are preferred

  • Lead Software Engineer, QBE Insurance Corporation, New York, NY:Responsible for working with business and IT disciplines to develop and enhance business systems that align with strategic direction and roadmap. Act as a technical subject matter expert for Majesco Policy Admin, Billing, and Digital 1st products. Oversee system changes for sound design and quality of delivery. Deliver features and functions to businesses under the project and production support model. Work with the Principal technologists on upgrading the IT infrastructure to the latest versions so the QBE has the latest and greatest technology infrastructure. Work with the demand and supply to develop work and resource forecasts for the applications delivery support. Manage the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Assess and address customer impacts in the design and delivery of solutions. Review the application design of other senior members of the team and provide feedback. Perform quality reviews and lead the end-to-end implementation of a solution. Complete impact analysis and ensure quality checks are performed.
