The AM Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during breakfast and lunch hours. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
o Greet guests promptly and courteously.
o Provide menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations when requested.
o Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen staff.
o Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
o Ensure that orders are delivered correctly and meet quality standards.
o Address any issues with orders promptly and professionally.
o Monitor guest tables and respond to requests and needs.
o Clear and clean tables as guests finish their meals.
o Set up tables for incoming guests, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement.
o Present guests with checks and process payments accurately.
o Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely.
o Provide guests with receipts and thank them for their visit.
o Work closely with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
o Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
o Assist colleagues during busy periods and cover shifts as needed.
o Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
o Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.
o Promote daily specials and other menu items.
o Upsell additional products when appropriate, such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages.
o Encourage guests to return by providing excellent service and building rapport.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an AM server
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Positive attitude and professional appearance.
