We are a fast growing vegan casual dining restaurant in need of an EXPERIENCED team leader that brings positive attitude and eagerness to continue to grow with us all

Candidates must be very friendly, warm and ATTENTIVE individuals. You must be bright, reliable, responsible and have bilingual (Spanish and English)

Knowledge of Organic/Vegetarian/Vegan food is a plus.

The Assistant Manager for Next Stop Vegan will delegate tasks, deliver exceptional customer service, lead by example and develop our team. Reports directly to the owners and Back of House Managers.

Essential Functions:

Works as Front of House staff member and Back of House

Create an environment that is warm, welcoming and filled with positivity for guests and employees

Implements and maintains guest service standards

Maintains all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels.

Assists with planning of daily goals, tasks and assignments.

Manages, supervises and evaluates Team Member performance through follow-up to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals and provides feedback including disciplinary action.

Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards.

Manages all office tasks, including receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member and scheduling

Recruit, interview, and hire team members; conduct performance appraisals, take disciplinary action, motivate and train

Interpersonal functions:

Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.

Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities

Flexible schedule with weekend availability required.

Ability to transport to both of our locations within Brooklyn.

Food Handlers Certification (A must) or in progress

Willingness to learn the back of house duties and responsibilities.

Bilingual Fluency mandatory (Spanish)

COMPENSATION:

Full time employment of 40 hours per week (MIN)

Weekly Pay with a monthly bonus program
