Job Description:
Daily BOH Kitchen Maintenance, washing dishes, cleaning BOH area
Work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure quality and consistency of the menu
Daily prep or mis en plus of all ingredients needed for the current menu
Qualification Requirements:
-Minimum 1 years’ experience in a cafe/restaurant working as a kitchen hand
-A genuine passion and knowledge for food
-Prior experience working in a busy all day cafe concept is an asset
-Experience with service and expediting
-Dependable and hard-working
-Sociable and friendly to staff and guests. We believe personality is your biggest asset.
-Maintain a clean, sanitary & well-organized kitchen at all times.
-Train staff in proper cleaning procedures and guidelines set by the Dept. of Health.
-Must be available to work on early/opening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
