High-end, Vibrant, bustling, well-known Tribeca bakery seeks positive personality, retail sales/customer service person with great "people skills" candidate needs to be able to "connect" with our many regular, longtime customers.
we are looking for 3-5 days that INCLUDES WEEKENDS BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY MORNINGS FROM 7-3PM. This is a family owned/operated company 33 years at the same location. we are looking for a smart, motivated individual, passionate about pastry, who appreciates the environment of a well organized, team-based creative business.
MUST be authorized to work in the USA
What we want in an applicant:
Passion for Pastry + Barista skills
A minimum of 2 years high-end retail food sales experience
Enjoys interacting with the public in a positive, friendly manner
Is able to multitask, often under the pressure of deadlines.
Knows how to operate a POS system and is technologically savvy.
Is able to work as a dependable, reliable team member
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities also include assisting in the packing of mail order and delivery items in support of the wholesale and catering department.
