A fast past busy Jamaican restaurant is seeking a skilled Barback to join our team. You will play a key role in providing efficient service for our guest.). Our barbacks will be as customer-facing as the bartenders, and to be knowledgeable about our menu.
No experience? As long as you can follow direction and pay attention to details we are happy to train you. Otherwise,
2 Years or more work experience in a food or culinary service including restaurants, catering services, fast food, institutional services and vending is mandatory.
Other duties include but not limited to:
- Prep for service; fresh garnishes, refilling bar as items are low .
- Assist bartender in readying the bar for service.
- Greet bar patrons, offer menus and water
- Maintaining the dishwasher and sink area as dirty cups are coming in
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Communicate with co-workers
- Positive demeanor and naturally organized
-Physically capable of carrying up to 50 lbs up/down stairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
