OASES Café is seeking a full-time barista/server - and we think it could be you!
OASES Café is dedicated to promoting well-being, with each dish and drink crafted using healthy, fresh ingredients. We are looking for experienced, talented baristas/counter servers who love working with coffee and making people happy!
You will be preparing and serving OASES guests according to guidelines and specifications outlined by Lead Barista and Manager, as well as perform other tasks related to the position.
Some Activities, Qualifications, & Responsibilities
You demonstrate proficient knowledge of coffee, coffee-making, tea and machine handling, including deep cleaning espresso machine (will be trained)
You can maintain a well-managed, organized, and sanitary station
You can jump right in and make the perfect cortado; operate a manual espresso machine in your sleep; and you're comfortable dialing in and maintaining consistent product.
You're fun to work with and to be around. We'd be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you, and you'll always provide our customers with a warm, friendly and welcoming experience.
You're mindful about your craft and you take pride in it. You have an eye for detail, you're proactive, and you're invested in what you do.
You're approachable, social, and make customers feel welcome.
You can take orders from guests with 100% accuracy when entering orders into POS.
You can submit accurate cash and tip reporting, and contribute to the tip pool as applicable.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in cafe / restaurants, cocktail bars, hotels, or equivalent.
A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional hospitality service.
TIPS certification preferred.
The ability to work a flexible schedule; night, weekends, holidays, as business requires.
The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs.
