BARISTA WANTED — CAFFÈ MONTE (SOHO, NYC)
Caffè Monte is looking for an experienced barista to join our small but growing team in SoHo. We’re located inside The M Jewelers, blending high-end fashion, premium coffee, and Italian-American heritage into a unique grab-and-go café experience.
We focus on creative takes on Italian espresso classics — espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, cortado, latte, shakerato, affogato — along with signature beverages, small bites, and a curated pantry, featuring Monte’s Fine Foods pasta & sauces and other small-batch premium products. We also sell merch & accessories, so an appreciation for such is a must.
WHO YOU ARE
Experienced barista with strong espresso fundamentals (Italian style a big plus)
Can open + close independently
Professional, warm, and confident with guests
Young, creative, fun energy — loves coffee, food, and hospitality
Has a sense of style and appreciation for fashion, jewelry & culture
Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Reliable, punctual, clean, organized
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare exceptional Italian espresso-based beverages (no training wheels)
Maintain quality and consistency under pressure
Handle register + point-of-sale
Stock, clean, manage inventory, rotate product
Create an elevated guest experience for a stylish SoHo audience
Assist with retail + merchandise sales
