Sullivan Street Bakery was founded in 1994 in New York City. Our team members are trained to be truly skilled craftspeople. Their understanding of the art and history of fermentation and baking is what sets Sullivan Street Bakery apart, and has kept it as a staple in New York City for 30 years.
DELIVERY DRIVER
Part-Time
Summary of Position:
Under general supervision, transport and drop off bread orders along predetermined routes for Sullivan Street Bakery’s Wholesale accounts and stores. Uphold the high standards of Sullivan Street Bakery by consistently making on-time deliveries while maintaining a responsible driving etiquette.
Driver Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Make on-time deliveries to multiple locations on predetermined routes
Load the entire route content into the vehicle
Observe traffic laws, parking laws and regulations
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of delivery vehicles
Complete daily driver log and communicate with supervisor regarding vehicle, route, and specific delivery conditions
Follow special drop-off instructions and obtain signatures, when necessary
Inspect physical and mechanical conditions of the vehicle

Qualifications:
Able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move objects up to 100 pounds.
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Able to read, write, and speak English
Geographical knowledge of the five boroughs of New York City
