Bread Mixer – European-Style Bakery
Pay: $17–$19/hour Schedule: Full Time Must lift 50 lbs
Wholesale Bakery is looking for an experienced bread mixer to join our production team. For over 50 years, our bakery has been known for traditional European methods, consistent quality, and products New Yorkers trust. We’re looking for someone who shares that commitment to craft.
Responsibilities
1. Mix and prepare doughs for sourdoughs, ryes, baguettes, and other European-style breads
2. Follow precise formulas, monitor dough development, and maintain consistency
3. Operate commercial mixers and handle ingredients safely
4. Support a clean, organized, efficient mixing room
Qualifications
1. Professional bakery experience, ideally 2+ years in a mixing room
2. Strong understanding of European doughs and fermentation
3. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a high-volume environment
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
