As a key and valued member of The Harrison you will be crucial in creating exceptional guest experiences through effective communication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Expeditor, Servers, and Managers in delivering food to guests in a friendly, professional manner. Additionally, you will help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the venue, efficiently set and reset tables, and stay composed and organized in a fast-paced environment before, during, and after service.
Qualifications for an experienced Busser
Relevant Experience: Two years as minimum proven experience as a busser.
Professionalism and Grooming: Exceptional personal presentation, with attention to detail in attire, grooming, and overall hygiene to meet the standards of a dining environment.
Advanced Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with servers, managers, and guests, ensuring smooth coordination and a high level of service.
Exceptional Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and maintaining immaculate dining areas, including proper table settings, resetting, and polishing of glassware and silverware.
Efficiency Under Pressure: Capacity to remain calm and focused during peak service times, ensuring timely table turnovers and swift handling of service requests.
Guest-Centered Approach: A deep understanding of the importance of creating a seamless guest experience, anticipating needs, and providing prompt service with a warm, professional attitude.
Team-Oriented: Collaborative spirit with a strong emphasis on teamwork, supporting colleagues to maintain service flow and meet guest expectations.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing service needs, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality.
