Barista/Bartender
Very busy café seeks experienced baristas trained in making different coffee drinks and coffee based cocktails. One year of experience is required; have ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment; have excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Job description:
Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.
Should have some experience mixing alcoholic beverages or must be willing to learn
Should also be able to handle delicate cakes and pastries with care
Work as a team player with the team of baristas and associates operating the retail side
Maintain high levels of cleanliness , safety of working area, adhering to sanitation/health regulations and company policy; ensuring proper storage of ingredients and supplies; will be responsible for dishwashing ( with machine)
Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform, with neat and presentable appearance
Ability to be cross-trained
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to minimum 50lbs
A valid Food Handler’s Certificate is preferable but not necessary
Café hours are from 9am-11pm, flexibility needed to work various shifts (mornings, afternoons or closing shifts) including weekends and holidays
