Chez Alex, busy coffee shop in Bed-Stuy is looking for experienced cafe cook/barista (barista experience isn’t necessary, we will train). We need energetic and friendly individual who will be comfortable working in the kitchen ( making sandwiches/salads/toasts) and in the front (taking orders, making espresso drinks).
Requirements:
- weekend availability
- kitchen experience
- food handlers certificate ( if you don’t have it, you must obtain it within few weeks)
What we offer:
34-38h (4 or 5 days, 5 days preferred, sunday-Thursday schedule)
Pay starts at 20per hour plus tips ( pay after tips is 26-32$).
Position starts March 1st, 4-5 training during last weeks of February.
