Chavela's is a busy neighborhood restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn.
We are seeking a rockstar host to join our team. If you are a hard working quick thinker with an outgoing personality (not shy or timid) and a sense of urgency, please apply. This job involves lots of communication with customers and seating strategy, as well as answering phones, inputting takeout orders and working with the rest of the front of house team.
Experience in a fast paced, high volume, customer facing food service setting is required, as well as availability for 4 shifts a week. Day shifts begin at 10:30 and end at 4:30, evening shifts begin at 4pm and end at 11:30pm. Schedule is a mix of daytime, nights and weekends. We are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Weekend availability is a must, including Sundays.
