The Kitchen at Cobble Hill is a local, well-established neighborhood restaurant looking for experienced industry professionals to join our small team.
We’re specifically looking for people with incredible time management skills, someone who is organized and efficient. We can all have 10 things we need to do, but which ones take precedence and why. Someone who is comfortable with all positions in a restaurant and good at building relationships with guests. Often times you’ll find yourself making a latte or cocktail while a two top and a four top walk in and you have to seat them, and then while you’re seating them, another table flags you down to take their order. There will be times when you have one or no tables and you have to restock, re batch cocktails, and use your time to prepare for the next wave.
This position is ideal for restaurant managers who don't want the stress of management, and prefer to run a shift on their own. Or individuals who started as bussers or hosts, and worked their way through server and bartender roles.
Must have NYC experience
A genuine passion for hospitality and the ability to create stellar guest experiences
Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude
Must be available on weekdays and weekends
