We are a cocktail bar, restaurant, cafe and cultural hub in Ridgewood, hiring an experienced bartender with training and shifts starting this week. Comprehensive experience in mixology, wine and food service are core requirements. Must have weekend availability and be ready to work minimum 3 shifts per week.
We have concerts, literary nights, private events, etc nightly and offer a wide array of refined food and beverage options.
The right candidate is very well versed and at home in the service industry as well as the arts with a great work ethic, highly service oriented and motivated with eagerness to learn and adapt to being part of a team and a vibrant atmosphere, knowledgable in beverage and food service and able to work at a high pace while remaining calm and attentive to patrons. Must be highly dependable, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktail preparation.
- Experience and familiarity within the world of wine and craft beer.
- Barista/coffee skills is a plus. Please tell us about any experience in this field.
- Must have Food Handlers Certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- Dependable and a good communicator.
- Polite and respectful.
- Able to speak and understand English.
- Must have availability for minimum 3 shifts per week (can be a combination of nights and daytime).
- Experience is a core requirement but we do not require "New York Work Experience." International applicants welcome.
