Top-tier cocktail and whiskey bar seeking a rockstar Assistant General Manager to complement our team.
We are looking for an experienced AGM to assist our General Manager in running the shop, including opening, closing duties, scheduling, training, and staff hiring/retention/discipline. You will be an integral part of the team. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial who will grow with us as we expand. Ideally you have beverage experience, and can take an active role in product knowledge, tastings, seasonal cocktail flips, and other FOH initiatives.
Please possess:
- Five years-plus of relevant experience (cocktails, fine dining)
- Background in restaurant and bar operations
- Experience working the floor or bar
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Leadership
- Attention to detail
- English language
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong work ethic
- Knowledge of NYC Health Department, Liquor Laws, rules and regulations
- Passion for and knowledge of cocktails, whiskies, and hospitality
