Mia’s Bakery is seeking a professional, reliable, and fast-paced Counter Person with proven experience in bakery or café service. We are a high-volume, family-owned bakery known for our cakes, pastries, and top-tier customer service. If you’ve worked behind the counter in a busy environment and know how to hustle without sacrificing quality or kindness, we want you.
What You’ll Do:
Greet and serve customers with speed, accuracy, and warmth
Operate POS system to take orders, process payments, and manage pickups
Package pastries, cakes, and custom orders according to strict standards
Handle phone orders, online pickups, and delivery coordination
Keep displays clean, organized, and fully stocked
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management
Barista Experience a HUGE PLUS!
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in a bakery, café, or high-volume counter setting
Must be quick on your feet, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
Able to handle early mornings, weekends, and holiday rushes
Familiarity with custom cake orders and basic food handling
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
