Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Counter/Grill Staff member to join our team at our bustling bagel shop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the grill and counter stations, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked, and preparing ingredients for service. Your tasks will include restocking dry goods, cleaning utensils and equipment, monitoring food quality, and assisting in food prep as needed. You'll also work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours. Attention to detail, excellent hygiene practices, and strong communication are key for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Restock grill items, dry goods, and supplies regularly.
Maintain cleanliness of grill, counter, and prep areas.
Monitor inventory levels and inform management when items are running low.
Prepare food items as per the daily needs and ensure freshness.
Maintain hygiene standards, including cleaning knives, rags, and surfaces.
Support closing procedures, including cleaning and storing items properly.
Work as a team with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a Bagel Shop or food service experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
