Position: Full-Time Store Team member: (Food Preparation, serving custom) (serious applicants only)
Hours: 40 hours per week . 5 days a week, Must be able to work weekends
About Us:
diRiso Risotto Balls started as an outdoor food stand at the Hastings-on-Hudson farmers market. We launched our first take-out shop in 2021, and have since grown to sell our products at 7 weekend farmers markets throughout Westchester and NYC. We invite you to join us in supporting our growing business and enjoy some delicious food along the way!
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated full-time store team member. This role involves:
-Closing/opening the shop
- Assisting our chefs with food preparation (making sandwiches, rice balls, lasagna, juices, etc.) — no professional culinary training required, just a basic understanding of food handling
- Serving customers (heating food items, making espresso drinks, packaging orders, etc.)
- Keeping the store clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation
- Opening and/or closing the shop
- Creating a positive and friendly atmosphere for customers and staff
- Maintaining a clean and inviting store environment
- Participating in ongoing training and development
