Starting rate: $20.00/hour
Training rate: $16.50/hour
SUMMARY
Contribute to an opulent, inclusive, fabulous theatrical environment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Company XIV is seeking a Dishwasher / Porter to help ensure our patrons have a glitteringly glamorous night from start to finish. We seek candidates with positive energy and strong work ethic. COCKTAIL MAGIQUE
Company XIV fuses burlesque, circus, opera, dance, theater and decadent design to create one-of-a-kind theatrical experiences. Founded by Artistic Director Austin McCormick in 2006, the company produces 360-degree immersive productions at two venues in Bushwick, Brooklyn: Thétre XIV and our brand new venue, Cocktail Magique Theatre. XIV’s commitment to pushing boundaries is unparalleled, creating immersive and genre-defying productions including Queen of Hearts, Cinderella, Nutcracker Rouge, Seven Sins and Cocktail Magique.
Cocktail Magique offers a food and beverage program for patrons including themed cocktails and delicious treats. Curated cocktail and food pairings are served to VIP patrons. Service is an extension of performance in an integrated, highly choreographed patron experience.
SCHEDULE
Dishwasher / Porter is expected to work 2-4 eight hour shifts per week. Performances are typically scheduled Thursday - Sundays with exceptions during peak seasons when there may be up to 8 performances per week. Dishwasher / Porter may be expected to work doubles, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and other holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Clean and organized–you love a tidy space
-Self motivated work ethic–you stay on task without constant supervision
-1+ year kitchen and/or dishwasher experience
-Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs repeatedly
-Eligibility to work in the US
-Theatrical or Stage Management experience a plus
-Food Handlers card a plus
