Modern Love is a vegan restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are looking for a dishwasher for 20 to 30 hours a week. Hours are flexible. We have morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday and evening shifts on the weekdays. Please have some experience washing dishes in a commercial kitchen. Some prep is required as well.
Job description:
wash dishes used during service (plates, pots, pans, etc)
bring dishes to the front of house during service
some prep skills for vegetable prep (clean greens, cut Brussel sprouts, cut fries)
mopping/sweeping/etc
take out garbage and recycling
help clean equipment
deep cleaning projects during slow times
help put deliveries away
