Seeking: Experienced, Poised, Charismatic, Knowledgeable Bartender for Classic NYC Institution
We are a busy, fine-dining Upper West Side restaurant seeking candidates for immediate hire. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AVAILABILITY IS A MUST! Prior experience in traditional fine dining is a must. Ideal candidates also have server experience, a thirst for knowledge, are dedicated employees, and embody the principles of hospitality. Please do not apply without two years of Bartending experience. PLEASE NOTE: We are actively elevating our service by requiring all Bartenders to work at least one shift as a server to maintain service standards.
Fluency in English, friendliness, speed, grooming, politeness, flexibility, and teamwork are essential qualities. Familiarity with TOAST POS is advantageous. Candidates must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Classic and Popular Modern Cocktails and wines, with the ability to prepare cocktails swiftly and efficiently. Multitasking, quick memorization, inventory awareness, and detail-oriented service are all desirable attributes. The same level of detailed service is maintained at our bar as at our tables. A genuine sense of joy is highly valued.
