We are seeking an experienced and professional Executive Dining Server/Pantry Assistant to provide exceptional high-end, white-glove service in a corporate global bank setting. This role is essential for ensuring smooth communication between clients and the kitchen while maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organized dining environment. The successful candidate will deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner while adhering to high standards of service and sanitation.
You would need to interview and if position is offered you would have to do a background check and be fingerprinted since you will be in a bank.
Schedule: Mon-Fri (flexible days) starts part-time and could turn full-time
Hours: 8AM-6PM (can change based on business demand)
Pay rate: $23
Responsibilities:
Dining Service:
Provide exceptional, high-end service to both internal and external clients, ensuring a fine dining experience.
Serve food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring all orders are accurately prepared and served in a timely manner.
Perform busing duties (clearing tables, resetting, and cleaning dining areas) during and after meals.
Carry and serve hot and cold beverages safely as requested.
Communicate with the kitchen to ensure all menu items are delivered correctly and promptly.
Pantry and Station Maintenance:
Maintain and organize pantry areas, ensuring that supplies are fully stocked (e.g., bottled water, sodas, iced tea, etc.).
Replenish beverage stations and service areas as needed, keeping them well-organized and neat throughout service.
Ensure the cleanliness of all food and beverage prep areas and keep them in line with safety and sanitation procedures.
Menu Knowledge:
Learn and familiarize yourself with the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and the ability to explain dishes to clients.
Stay informed of daily specials or changes in the menu and relay information to clients as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work cohesively with other dining team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of service.
Display excellent time management skills and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude towards clients and coworkers.
Execute additional assignments or tasks as needed and directed by management.
Compliance & Professionalism:
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, including adhering to company policies, code of conduct, and privacy regulations.
Follow all food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and corporate requirements (e.g., performance management, privacy awareness).
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine dining and/or catering operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
Must be a team player, willing to support colleagues and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Experience with Executive Dining Rooms and Catering Functions (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and executive pantries).
Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems for order taking and processing.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Uniform: Black slacks (no jeans, chinos, sweatpants, etc.), black leather shoes (no sneakers or tennis shoes), and a dark blue or black tie.
Provided Equipment: Shirt and apron will be provided; both must be returned after each shift.
Punctuality: Arrive on time and be ready to work as scheduled.
Security Clearance: All servers must be properly badged and have completed the background and onboarding process prior to starting at our location.
