Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and supervise Sushi Chefs and Prep Chefs
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment; achieve 5-star feedback from staff in quarterly reviews
Train staff on food safety and hygiene; hold a valid Food Safety Manager Certificate and ensure all chefs have current Food Handler Certificates
Ensure quality and portion control, manage inventory, and maintain menu item availability
Collaborate with management to maintain food costs within monthly targets
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in full compliance with health regulations
Work based on a 5 days week with at least 3 shifts behind the counter a week
Being able to work as a head chef in one of our venues simultaneously
Willing to travel
Work in events and helping new openings
Have a valid drivers license
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Head Chef
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment
Good communication skills
