Cafe Volkan is an independently-owned local cafe in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
We pride ourselves on offering high quality coffee, teas, and food in a cozy and friendly environment. We are looking for an experienced barista that can handle high volume while maintaining the quality and customer service that we have become known for.
Hours: Part-Time
Pay: $16hr + Tips (Excellent tips available!)
We are looking for an experienced barista with the following qualifications:
1+ years barista experience
Latte Art skills (Strongly preferred)
Availability to work peak hours, including early mornings, weekends, and some holidays.
Polite and friendly customer service with an engaging personality.
Reliable and Punctual
Job Description:
Greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner
Making high-quality drinks accurately and consistently
Taking and charging customer orders
Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Adhering to all Department of Health food safety regulations and quality controls.
Must legally be able to work in U.S.!
