We are in search of an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Barista/Cashier at our high-traffic bagel shop. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced bagel shop environment, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive as a team player. This role requires someone who is quick on their feet, takes initiative, and can handle the demands of a bustling bagel shop with efficiency and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities:
Welcome customers with a friendly and upbeat attitude, providing prompt and attentive service.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our menu offerings and customization options.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea drinks, smoothies and refreshers with precision and consistency, ensuring each order meets our high standards of quality.
Operate the Toast POS system proficiently to process orders, manage transactions, and handle cash and card payments with accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
Proactively monitor inventory beverages, and other supplies, restocking items and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
Keep your station clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
